Let’s climb bro’!

9 November 2011

BROTHERS – GIVE US SOME SPANISH SWEETS AND WE CAN RUN, NO PROBLEM!

Last 2 days I spent with Morten’s family from Oslo. For boys it was a first time they’re climbing and for a first moment they were a bit overwhelmed with altitude. They changed their mind when I gave them some spanish cakes fried in a deep olive oil… On the second day they were climbing 4 grade wall a few times in the row! and lowering wasn’t any problem for them. But it’s no wonder if your parents are climbers – I enjoyed 2 multipitch sessions with each of them changeably – someone must stay with children on the ground each time. At the second time we climbed really steep 6a+ pitch! Jonas and his brother turned out to be very strong walkers – they ran from Escalera Arabe to my car (before we used short rope technic with Jonas😉 – maybe due to the vision of a huge plate of “patatas fritas”. Indeed a steak in La Garganta Hotel restaurant was really big…
