Crisp air and coffee with milk

The 1st of May is the day off in Spain, so I was expecting to meet a lot of climbers in El Chorro because of “el puente”: 4 days long weekend. However since 2 days it was raining in Malaga area and the few thunderstorms passed loudly close to Montanas de Malaga. While driving to El Chorro early in the morning I could enjoy views of snowed peaks above Tolox. We spent all day climbing with Andy and Alex, enjoying fresh and crisp air with perfect temperature of 20 degrees – you can not imagine a better conditions for rock climbing! Also there was no one beside of us and some huge vultures above – which reminded us the movie “Birds” by A. Hitchcock…
